Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and a TV host at MSNBC. She's often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to launch their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is adamant about her fascination with politics to her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan as she was in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact of the election on people living in Jordan and, as a result, gained an appreciation of the impact that US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She created the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
